Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sergey (d.2019) was an in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th, 1998. Aryna Sabalenka holds twelve WTA Singles titles. One of which was crowned "Grand Slam" in the Australian Open 2023. Doubles is another area where she excels. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Mertens. Together with her fellow Belgian tennis player, she also took home the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in 2019 thus making her the Sunshine Double. Four women's teams were able to achieve this achievement. On the 23rd August of 2021, she climbed to the second spot on the list of world singles rankings her highest ranking was again reached in the month of January in 2023. That same year she took home the title at Melbourne before she moved up to number one in the world when it comes to doubles. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) coached her for part of the 2019 season as well as from the year 2018 until closing. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach for her from the month of August until September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow nationman, has been her coach since the year 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova have been her inspirations.
